Everyone who preorders Call of Duty: Black Ops III at GameStop will receive a personalization pack for their in-game characters themed around the iconic Nuketown Call of Duty multiplayer map. The map is making a comeback in Black Ops III, though this time it's called Nuk3town.

The DLC pack includes:

A Nuk3town themed weapon camo
3 Nuk3town themed weapon reticles
A Nuk3town themed calling card
Everyone who preorders Black Ops III at GameStop also gets the Nuk3town multiplayer map. This perk isn't exclusive to GameStop, however, as it's offered at retailers everywhere.

Black Ops III launches on November 6 across all platforms. This year, there are significant differences between the current- and last-generation versions. The last-gen versions of Black Ops III run at 30fps (compared to 60fps on current-gen) and also don't have a campaign mode.

Nuketown was first seen in the original Black Ops from 2010 and then again in 2012's Black Ops II, where it was known as Nuketown 2025. The map also appeared in Black Ops Declassified as Nukehouse.

The new Nuk3town will be available exclusively on current-generation consoles and PC.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's commitment to gaming is not something to be questioned. That's according to an Xbox Live senior manager, who talked more about his impression of Nadella in a new interview.

"He is fully on board with gaming," senior global product marketing manager Mike Lavin told Business Insider.

Back in 2014, reports suggested that Microsoft was considering selling off the Xbox division. However, when Nadella was named CEO, he shot down those rumors. "I have no intent to do anything different on Xbox than we are doing today," the executive explained in May 2014.

When Nadella took over as Microsoft CEO, Xbox boss Phil Spencer had nothing but praise for the man. He called him a "good leader, good guy" and said he will be a "great CEO." Spencer added that he expects Nadella to be a "good supporter" of the Xbox team and Microsoft Studios.

Business Insider's full story goes into greater depth regarding how the Xbox One fits into Nadella's overall plan for Microsoft. One part of that is coming soon, as November's New Xbox One Experience update introduces a version of Windows 10 to the console.

As a result, some Xbox One functionality is going to be as much as 50 percent faster. Overall, users can look forward to a "new level of speed and responsiveness" when the update arrives.

During Microsoft's latest quarter, game sales rose a healthy 66 percent, led by Minecraft.

The developers behind the canceled Star Wars game that would have starred nefarious Sith Lord Darth Maul now say they are planning to "resurrect" the title. In a recent Reddit AMA, Red Fly Studio CEO and owner Dan Borth talked more about the project and how he hopes it can eventually see the light of day.

In the online Q&A session, Borth revealed that Red Fly is currently working on a "full, next-gen demo of all things Maul to show to the powers that be." He added, "It's been a lot of work on our off-time."

According to a 2014 report, the Darth Maul game was in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. The new edition is presumably for new-generation consoles, according to Borth's wording.

Publishing giant Electronic Arts is the exclusive developer of Star Wars console games, meaning the new Darth Maul project would presumably need to be greenlit through them.

"We have been burning a candle for this game since it was killed in hopes we can get it turned back on again," Borth added. "IF that is to happen we need to approach EA with a demo that will impress them. I think we have that or are close to it. Still it is completely not up to us."

The next new Star Wars game, Star Wars Battlefront, focuses on the original film trilogy, not the prequels. These films were generally not as well-received as the originals, leading one fan to ask if a game featuring a prequel character like Darth Maul had a realistic shot at being made.

"That's a fair point," Borth said. "I don't know what are chances are realistically. I would say this helps them if there were any. Hopefully EA will see the value in us reskinning our combat mechanic to be more in line with what they are thinking for Star Wars if they are not interested in Maul."

As for Red Fly's overall aspirations for the Darth Maul game, Borth said you would play as a young Maul, aged 9 or 11; the story would lead up to directly before the events of Episode 1.

"We wanted to show what he went through to become a Sith. Showcase the torture the Emperor put him through," he said. "Show how you as the player would have made the same mistakes and ended up a Sith."
